The Nova 2000 Blast Helmet, manufactured by RPB Safety, is designed with operator comfort and safety as top priorities and was among the first helmets of its kind in the industry. It features motorcycle-style comfort padding that ensures a balanced weight distribution and allows the helmet to move naturally with the wearer’s head. The inner lens complies with ANSI Z87.1 and European safety standards, which provide high-level eye protection. In addition, the helmet offers up to 20 dB of noise reduction by creating a safer and quieter working environment.
The helmet carries NIOSH approval with a 1000 APF rating, highlighting its strong respiratory protection capabilities. A rubber-sealed window frame prevents dust leakage, while the impact-resistant polystyrene hood adds extra head protection beyond the shell. Optional climate control and cool air tube systems allow the wearer to regulate incoming air temperature for improved comfort and productivity. Supplied with a breathing air tube, waist belt, buckle, and a 28″ or 38″ nylon cape with inner collar, the Nova 2000 meets multiple international safety standards by setting a high benchmark in blasting helmet performance.
